Following its previous production, "Scene Together", the Act 1 Theatre Company staged its summer production for a week long run from Monday, July 8th until Saturday, July 13th 2002.

"Take 6 - the Music of the Movies" featured excerpts from all time greats such as Cabaret, Bugsy Malone, Sunset Boulevard and Moulin Rouge, to name but a few, and audiences found themselves totally involved in the show as the action moved throughout the auditorium.

The show opened with the audience as invited guests at an auction of MGM and Paramount Film Studio artefacts, which took take them on an imaginative journey through classic movies, from the past to the present day.
